Hi guys! Yesterday I handed in a paper and now just one left for Wednesday before a small break until my oral presentation late June.. Oh, and on Saturday my youngest sister is getting married! So excited about that... But oh dear - W.H.A.T. T.O. W.E.A.R?????????????
It is a low key wedding, and the reception is in their own garden, which means I cannot wear heels.. A small bummer, but I have bought a pair of wedges to secure me of a little height and lean legs. However, I would wish I could afford those Rupert Sanderson-wedges with houndstooth and pink accents. So cool! And matches the Tibi dress perfectly.. Or perhaps the Roksanda Ilincic-dress and paired with the Charlotte Olympia-heels, or with a practical note the Ancient Greek Sandals {love the wings!!!}

Oh, and jewelry en masse! Such pretty rings and earrings. My magpie-soul is happy happy right now...

Well, this will be over and out from me right now, and see you - hopefully- soon, or at least post-Wednesday!

Monthly Favourites - March

Monthly Favourites March 2012

Oh my, time passes quickly these days. Rushing from one place to another, reading several books and texts on my exam topics, and not quite seeming to take it in. Luckily, now it is Easter, and I can catch up on some of the things that went behind. Just like this little blog. It is still my favourite hide-away from the dreary everyday world, and what could possibly be better than all these new beauties I have to show you?
I actually think, I have found the perfect red high heels! And I have been looking EVERYWHERE for a pair without irritating details or too low heel. But these could be the ones. The only concern I have is the colour. Whether it is slightly too salmon and not just red. What do you think?
Other than that, it just want to let Victoria Beckham know that I would very much like to switch closet with her (naturally in my imagination this involves a full army of fairies who can make all the garments into my size!). I am sure she could find one or two things she might like in MY closet, so she should just drop by really...
Ah well, one can dream right? But I do, especially about the dress and her bag. G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S!!!!
Oh well, all for now. She you soon. Happy Easter Bunny kisses to you all!

Flora from Royal Copenhagen

Oohh, it has been a little while since my last post here, sorry about that. I had actually meant to post during the weekend but had a small setback due to school as well as not feeling quite well. Luckily, that's over - the unwell part, school still lingers around, ready to jump at me when I am seconds to forget such thing ever existed. But hey, this semester and then my dissertation - done! I shouldn't complain, so I will just skip to the real point of this post.

Some time ago, I posted some scans from this year's catalogue from Royal Copenhagen and I mentioned a new addition to the lovely services but I was so cruel and didn't say anything more! How cruel indeed.. (please excuse my language, I have been reading way too much Dickens lately. It may be beginning to rub off!)
I LOVE this new service called Flora. It is like Flora Danica mega! But without the similar prize tag. And the very best part in my opinion?
One of the six designs is with DANDELIONS!

Oh, how pretty it is! I hope they will create more designs so you can set the table with just different plates. And I really like the gold accents in this shoot. So cool up against the grey-green cloths and napkins.

But seriously, how loud do you think I shrieked when I saw this? I can't decide whether I would go for just dandelions or all six designs.
Here are the rest of the designs:

Can you guys pick a favourite? If it wasn't for the dandelion design, I would not be able to, I think...
Last, some style shots, there's also a coffee and tea service in Flora, which is almost prettier if that's even possible.

Weekly Favourites 45

Weekly Favourites 45

I am experiencing a fast-growing love for simle and elegant jewelry which can work both on the daily basis as well on special occasions. The Alex Monroe collection is spot on this love, and the small accents of diamonds and other gemstones are to die for. Subtle and very elegant without the flashy-tacky feel. With that said, I also like big and glitter as long as the materials and the designs are good.. And with one statement piece {the Topshop Star necklace} and the rest subtle, I think it could work well together.

And I still love the past Miu Miu collection and the top would work great with other things in my wardrobe without being too much last season. I like when pieces work like that and that's probably the tell-tell sign if you buy with your heart or are a fashion-victim with no clear personal style. Don't get me wrong, I like to be on-trend but I also know that with many things I followed the fashion trends past instead of wearing what I really liked or what suited me and my figure. Maybe it is an aspect of getting older. No more city shorts or flared trousers for me! Scorned child fears the fire - or something..

On another note, does anyone know whether the Coca Cola lip balms taste like Coke? If yes, I'm so gonna get them... for my sister!
